Nine Inducted Into Broadcasting Hall of Fame in St. Louis Park

A ceremony is set for Oct. 15.

The Minnesota Broadcasting Museum, or , in St. Louis Park has nine new members in its hall of fame.

Inductees include Maynard Meyer, owner, general manager, program director, news director and morning host at KLQP-FM in Madison, Minn.; Steve Woodbury, president and CEO of Northern Lights Broadcasting; and Barbara Reyelts, an award-winning investigative journalist who is now news director at KBJR TV in Duluth.

Two broadcasters were also inducted posthumously—Phil Miller, former general manager at WCCO Radio; and John Sherman, who helped design and build WCCO TV.

The inductees will be honored at a gala on Oct. 15 at the Metropolitan Ballroom in Golden Valley. Proceeds from that event will benefit the Pavek Museum. For more, see the attached PDF at right.
