Mark Applequist of St. Louis Park 

June 21, 1950 - Feb. 23, 2013 

Mark was a graduate of Minnehaha Academy and an Honor's graduate of the University of Minnesota. He adored his family, was a passionate educator, sailor, tennis player and his faith until his debilitating illness confined him to long term care since 1979.

Survived by children, Josh (Courtney) and Kristen; granddaughter, Adelaine; mother, Helen; brother, Bruce (Barbara); the wife of his youth, Debbie Swenson; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Preceded in death by father, Harold.

Private interment Grandview Park Cemetery.

Mark's family wishes to thank the many care givers that he has been blessed with throughout his illness. 

Service was 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013 at Gearty-Delmore Park Chapel, 3960 Wooddale Ave South in St. Louis Park.
