Obituary: Twin Cities Native, 35, 'Succumbed' To Addiction

Rebecca "Becky" Marshall Brewster, 35, died this year after she succumbed to an addiction while she was at her home in New Orleans. She was an artist and writer. Brewster was born in Saint Paul, grew up in Plymouth and went to Wayzata High School.

Brewster graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in journalism, the Sun Sailor reported. She worked for the Portland Tribune. She is survived by her parents, Christopher and Nancy Brewster, as well as her brother, Benjamin.
