A semi truck sustained damage on Friday afternoon when it got caught under an overpass on a frontage road just south of Highway 7, near the intersection with Louisiana Avenue.
Patch reader David Jenkins said crews began towing away the trailer at around 2:40 p.m.
Semi driver Wade Boettcher said he was uninjured—and his cab not damaged—but the same couldn't be said for the trailer.

Boettcher was headed west on the frontage road and said he saw a sign about a low bridge ahead, but didn't see additional caution signs as he approached and figured he was in the clear. The bridge is 12-feet, 6-inches tall. By comparison, highway overpasses are generally 16-feet, 4-inches tall.
