Legion baseball teams from and were both eliminated during pool play of the <a href="http://www.tricitybaseball.org/GopherClassic.htm" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">2011 Gopher Classic</a>. St. Louis Park finished 1-4, while BSM went 2-3. The tournament, which is the largest American Legion baseball tournament in the country with 66 teams, had 11 different groups during pool play. The winner of each—plus the top-five runners-up—advanced to Monday's championship round. The tournament semifinals and final will be Tuesday at Veterans Field in Minnetonka.
