Snow Emergency Declared In St. Louis Park
On-street parking is prohibited during a snow emergency.

ST. LOUIS PARK, MN — St. Louis Park city officials announced that a snow emergency will be in effect starting 10 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 23. During the snow emergency, any on-street parking is banned, and any car parked on an unplowed street during a snow emergency may be ticketed and towed.
Snow emergencies are declared in St. Louis Park:
— After or during a significant snowfall, generally 3 or more inches of snow accumulation.
— In advance of an approaching storm which is forecasted to produce at least 6 inches of snow. Timing, duration, intensity and estimated snow amount are factors in determining if a snow emergency is warranted ahead of the storm.
In general, St. Louis Park does not allow parking on any city street for more than 48 hours. Vehicles may be towed after 48 hours.
