SLP Business Taking Part in Health Challenge

TruHealth MD, a St. Louis Park-based nutrition company, is taking part in a statewide health challenge for businesses, colleges and nonprofits.

The BizicallyFIT 2012 Health Challenge is designed to encourage Minnesota employers help their employees adopt healthy lifestyles. It consists of three competition categories: exercise, pedometer steps and weight loss. Participants may compete in just one, two or in all three categories. Participants can track their progress on the Web, by smartphone or by SMS text. One participant that regularly tracks his or her progress will win one free week at a Biggest Loser Resort weight loss camp.

The challenge ceremoniously kicked off Monday at the Minnesota Vikings’ Winter Park field house in Eden Prairie, but will officially start on Feb. 13 and run through May 4. Teams can still register online.
