ST. LOUIS PARK, MN — The St. Louis Park City Council declared May as bike month in April. The city has partnered with Hennepin County and the Three Rivers Park District to promote bicycling.

During bike month, St. Louis Park businesses and residents are encouraged to host events and activities that encourage biking.

  • The city of St. Louis Park is hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony and celebration for the new Dakota Edgewood bike/pedestrian bridge on May 15. At that event, there will be police and firefighter-led bike tours of the bridge and surrounding neighborhood. Learn more here.
  • During bike to work week, which is May 16 through May 20, St. Louis Park will host a commuter "pit stop" at Aquila Park at the North Cedar Lake Regional Trail near Minnetonka Boulevard.
