Hannah Geressu's goal in sudden-death overtime propelled the St. Louis Park girls soccer team to a 2-1 victory over Minneapolis South in the opening round of the Section 6AA playoffs on Thursday night. Junior Lauren Miller scored the Orioles other goal and assisted on Geressu's game-winner. Fourth-seeded St. Louis Park (9-2-3 overall, 8-0-2 in North Suburban Conference) advances to play top-seeded Wayzata in the section semifinals on Saturday.
