(VIDEO) St. Louis Park Honors Fallen Firefighters

The Saturday remembrance marked the 40th anniversary of one of the city's most tragic fires.

On Saturday, the St. Louis Park Fire Department honored the lives of two men who died much too soon.

Arnold "Arnie" Johnson and Robert "Bob" McElmurry died while battling a fire at the Pizza House, at 4532 Excelsior Blvd., on Oct. 8, 1971. Saturday marked the 40th anniversary of the tragedy.

Also recognized was Assistant Fire Chief Kurt Scheibe, who died on the scene of a fire on Oct. 1, 1964.
