St. Louis Park Hosting Youth Golf Tournament In Golden Valley
The Mini U.S. Open will take place on June 18 at Brookview Golf Course and Lawn Bowling. Adults can caddie or play with their youth golfer.
ST. LOUIS PARK, MN —On the same June weekend that the U.S. Open golf tournament takes place in Brookline, Massachusetts, Golden Valley will be hosting its own golf championship.
At 10:30 a.m. on June 18, Brookview Golf Course and Lawn Bowling, 200 Brookview Parkway, will be hosting the Mini U.S. Open. The event is open to kids of all ages, and adults can caddie or play with their youth golfer. Tee times begin at 11 a.m.
The event is being run by the City of St. Louis Park, and registration is available through June 13 on the city's website. All golfers must pre-register. The tournament costs $15 per golfer for residents, and $18 for non-residents. Supervising adults are free.

According to the City of St. Louis Park, participants can bring their own golf clubs or use youth clubs and golf balls that are provided by Brookview Golf Course.
Golfers are asked to schedule tee times during the event by calling 763-512-2345.

On the day of the event, golfers must check in at the Brookview Par 3 Building 10 minutes before their tee time.
After playing the course, golfers are invited to stop in at the Three One Six Bar + Grill for Mini U.S. Open food specials.
The city said there also will be prizes given out for the best-dressed golfer or pair of golfers.
