St. Louis Park Makes List of Top 5 Rinks in the Twin Cities
Minnesota Monthly Magazine included one of St. Louis Park's ice rinks in its list of the top five outdoor ice rinks in the Twin Cities.
St. Louis Park residents have yet another reason to be proud. Minnesota Monthly Magazine included one of St. Louis Park's ice rinks in its list of the top five outdoor ice rinks in the Twin Cities.
See what Minnesota Monthly had to about the city's Recreation Outdoor Center:
This brand new outdoor skating rink opened in December 2016 as part of the St. Louis Park Rec Center. There are still plans to install a covered roof (similar to Edina’s Backyard Rink), but the refrigerated ice is ready for skaters. Open skate times and lessons are also offered at the recently renovated indoor skating facility. Watch for fun seasonal events held at the new ROC such as the New Year’s Eve party. In the springtime, the ice rink will be converted into a turfed field for activities such as baseball, soccer, and lacrosse.
Now that you know how good you have it, it's time to take advantage of ROC's open skating, going on now through Feb. 20.
