St. Louis Park Postpones July 4 Fireworks

St. Louis Park is the latest Minnesota city to announce there will be no July 4 fireworks show this summer.

ST. LOUIS PARK, MN — As Minnesotans continue to deal with the spread of the new coronavirus, St. Louis Park city officials have decided to postpone the July 4 fireworks. The show has been moved to Sunday, Sept. 6, at Aquila Park.

The June 17-21 Parktacular has also been canceled.

  • Picnic shelters
  • Basketball rims have been removed from courts
  • Tennis and pickleball nets have not yet been installed this spring
