SLP Ski Teams Take 2nd, 4th at Twin Cities Meet

• Both the St. Louis Park boys and girls teams had strong showings at the Twin Cites Nordic Ski Conference Championships on Friday, with team finishes of second and fourth, respectively. The boys were led by a first-place finish by Michael Cork, a senior captain, and a fourth-place finish by his brother Sean Cork, a freshman. Ben Verhasselt finished 13th, also earning all-conference honors. Rounding out the team, Nate Rumpza and Sam Dawson earned all-conference honorable mention 
• The girls were lead by junior captain Sarah Webb, who finished eighth, and Sophie Olson, who finished 15th. Both girls captured all-conference honors.  Additional all-conference honorable mention honors went to Amelia Shankwitz and Mariel Klaverkamp.
