ST. LOUIS PARK, MN— Three cars were stolen in St. Louis Park over the weekend, according to the police. Each car was left running with the keys in the ignition, and no one was around.
"While warming up your car may be beneficial to some vehicles and can help melt snow and ice, this also facilitates auto theft," police warned Monday.
Cars equipped with factory-installed or aftermarket remote starters are much less prone to this kind of theft, police explained.
