Window Washer Who Died in Fall Identified

Authorities have identified 25-year-old Ryan Shannon, of Roseville, as the victim of a fatal fall from a St. Louis Park apartment building on Friday.

Shannon was part of a window washing crew, and he fell around 2 p.m at the . The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office has determined that Shannon died from multiple blunt-force injuries and that the death was an accident.

No one else was injured in Friday's incident.

City spokesman Jamie Zwilling said it was the second fatality involving a window washer in St. Louis Park in the last few years, the other occurring at Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital.
