1 Killed Monday In Wright County Crash: Sheriff

WRIGHT COUNTY, MN — One person was killed Monday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Monticello Township, according to the Wright County Sheriff’s Department.

Deputies were called just after 6 a.m. Monday to a fatal crash at the intersection of County Highway 37 and Edmonson Avenue NE in Monticello Township.

A Ford pickup truck was traveling east on County Highway 37 when it crashed into the driver’s side of another pickup truck that entered the intersection after stopping at the stop sign on Edmonson Avenue, the Wright County Sheriff’s Department said.

Officials did not publicly identify the victim of the fatal crash, as of 3:30 p.m. Monday.
