5 St. Michael Schools Remain On MDH Coronavirus Outbreak List
St. Michael-Albertville Middle School West in Albertville was also named on the list Thursday.
ST. MICHAEL, MN β Five St. Michael schools were once again included Thursday on the Minnesota Department of Healthβs list of facilities with recent coronavirus outbreaks.
St. Michael Catholic School was added to the list last week, joining Big Woods Elementary, Fieldstone Elementary, St. Michael-Albertville Senior High School and both of the district's middle schools. All five STMA schools have been on the list for several weeks.

The COVID-19 data dashboard for the St. Michael-Albertville School District shows there have been 247 total coronavirus cases among the district's 6,850 students since Sept. 7, including 63 during the final week of October.
The district has also reported 41 total coronavirus cases since Sept. 7 among 873 staff members, according to the district's dashboard.

Twenty-one Wright County schools were included on this week's list, the same as last week.
Eighty Minnesota schools were added to the list Thursday, taking the stateβs total to 639 schools with coronavirus outbreaks.
A school is considered to have an outbreak when it reports five or more confirmed cases of the virus in students or staff who were in the building while infectious during the most recent two-week reporting period.
Schools on the list may not have ongoing transmission, according to MDH officials. Schools are removed from the list after 28 days without any new cases.
