The midway in Central Park will open at 3 p.m. today. The gang from Midwest Carnival spent Wednesday afternoon setting up shop.

Soon, the smell of fried burgers, funnel cakes and mini-donuts will be wafting through the air in Albertville. 

Vendors and ride operators from Midwest Rides spent much of Wednesday afternoon setting up shop on the east end of Central Park in Albertville. 

Mad Jaxs' crew put together the ever-popular Tilt-A-Whirl, which will take its rightful place at the end of Lander Avenue.
