Albertville's Friendly City Days To Feature Carnival, Music June 8-12

The five-day event also includes "Craft Beer Night" on Thursday, fireworks Friday, a craft and vendor fair Saturday, and much more.

ALBERTVILLE, MN — A citywide garage sale is set to kick off Albertville’s “Friendly City Days” event Wednesday morning, with a carnival to open Wednesday night in Central Park.

The 35th annual celebration is due to run from Wednesday through Sunday night in downtown Albertville, with dozens of events and activities scheduled.

The five-day event will feature at least nine live performances from regional acts, as well as “Craft Beer Night” from 6-10 p.m. Thursday, tethered balloon rides, a pond hockey tournament, fireworks and a craft and vendor fair Saturday.

Sunday’s events include the conclusions of the men’s softball and pond hockey tournaments, as well as the softball championship game at 4 p.m. in Central Park.
