Budget, Shop Saint Michael Week, Development Service: St. Michael EDA

The St. Michael Economic Development Authority (EDA) has a variety of items on the agenda for their 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18 meeting at Lucky Pets, 12246 42nd St. NE for a meeting and tour.

Here are some of the highlights:

• WSB Economic Development Services Proposal. The EDA is scheduled to continue discussion on the proposal from WSB to provide Economic Development Services for 12 months for $4,000/month.

• 10-Year EDA Budget Plan and Work Plan. Continued review of 10-year budget plan and where city should focus its efforts as “more resources become available in 2015 – additional industrial lots, redevelopment acquisitions, business loans, marketing,” according to the EDA agenda.

• Shop Saint Michael Week. Shop Saint Michael planning the event to build on national Small Business Saturday.

•  Updates on planning and economic development projects in the city of St. Michael.
