One of the newest businesses in the St. Michael community this year is Schumm Heating & Cooling Inc., which opened in March.
St. Michael resident Chris Schumm owns the business.
“We are a local heating and air conditioning company that focuses on customer service and believes that a reasonably priced repair and maintenance company can still exist,” the owner told Patch in an email, stating they “never charge a trip charge or diagnostic fee.”

Schumm Heating & Cooling Inc. serves the whole Twin Cities metro area.
Picking St. Michael as the location to base his business was an easy choice for Schumm.

“It is a great place to live and work. I grew up in St. Michael and have lived here for 37 years, I have strong area ties and I am on the St. Michael City Council, ” Schumm said.
