'Dangerous' Wind Chills To Return To St. Michael This Week: NWS

ST. MICHAEL, MN — St. Michael is set to be under a wind chill advisory Monday night through Wednesday morning, with "dangerous wind chills" forecast for much of the region, according to the National Weather Service.

The wind chill advisory will take effect at 9 p.m. Monday and is due to last until 10 a.m. Wednesday. Forecasts show wind chills could reach 37 degrees below zero.

The National Weather Service is urging residents to wear appropriate clothing while outside, as frostbite could affect exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes.

Sunny and cold, with a high near -4. Wind chill values as low as -35. Northwest wind 5 to 15 mph.

Mostly clear, with a low around -22. Wind chill values as low as -37. West northwest wind around 5 mph becoming south southwest after midnight.

Wednesday
Mostly sunny, with a high near 19. Breezy, with a south wind 5 to 10 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph.

Wednesday night
A 20 percent chance of snow before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a temperature rising to around 24 by midnight. South southwest wind 10 to 15 mph becoming west northwest after midnight.
