‘Dangerously Hot’ Weather Today In Wright County; Could Feel Like 98
Residents should find a cool place and stay indoors Tuesday, if possible. Outdoor workers should stay hydrated to try to beat the heat.
WRIGHT COUNTY, MN — Temperatures are set to climb toward triple digits Tuesday in Wright County, while heat index values could be even higher, according to the National Weather Service.
Tuesday will be mostly sunny and hot, with a high temperature of about 94 and heat index values as high as 98, the NWS said. Forecasts are fortunately also calling for it to be breezy Tuesday in Wright County, with wind gusts as high as 30 mph.

The National Weather Service issued an excessive heat warning for Wright County and much of the Twin Cities metro from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, warning of “dangerously hot conditions.”
“Extreme heat and humidity will significantly increase the potential for heat-related illnesses, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities,” the National Weather Service said.

Residents in the area under an excessive heat warning should drink plenty of fluids and stay out of the sun and in an air-conditioned room, if possible, the NWS said.
Wright County does not have designated “cooling centers,” but residents can try to beat the heat by going inside any city- or county-owned building.
