First Responders Keeping up with Busy Spring in St. Michael Area

The following police and fire calls were filed by the respective departments during a period from April 5 through 15. All information is validated by staff.

April 5

The was dispatched to a medical call in the 200th block of Circle Lane SE.  There was a 79-year-old female with no blood pressure.  

The St. Michael Fire Department responded to a grass fire in the 7000th block of 72nd Avenue NE in Monticello for mutual aid.

The St. Michael Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle fire in the 200th block of Oakwood Parkway in Monticello for mutual aid.

The St. Michael Fire Department responded to the intersection of 70th Street NE and Kadler  to assist the Albertville Fire Department with a grass fire.  They were cancelled en-route.

April 6

The St. Michael Fire Department was on stand-by at Station 1 to cover for the Hanover Fire St. Michael Fire St. Michael Fire Department.

The St. Michael Fire Department responded to a fire call in the 12000th block of 42nd Street NE.  There was a small fire from grinding equipment.

April 7

The St. Michael Fire Department responded to a fire call at the intersection of 32nd Street NE and Lander Avenue NE.  There were wood chips on fire.  

April 9

The St. Michael Fire Department responded to a fire call at the intersection of Birch Avenue NW and County Road 19 for wood chips on fire.  They were cancelled en-route.

 The St. Michael Fire Department responded to a medical call in the 300th block of Iris Lane SW.  There was an unconscious 55-year-old male. 

April 13

David Robert Nowlan, 20, of Waite Park was arrested in St. Michael on the charge of 5th degree controlled substance violation.

April 14

Juan Antonio Arellano, 33, of Albertville was arrested in Albertville on the charge of 5th degree assault.

Jonathan Joseph Schwartz, 35, of St. Michael was arrested in Albertville on the charge of disorderly conduct.

There were nine property damage accidents, three personal injury accidents, one hit-and-run accidents and one car vs. deer accident.

There were six arrests for DWI, 10 underage consumption arrests, no School Bus Stop Arm Violations, and 80 tickets for miscellaneous traffic violations issued this week.
