UPDATE: Freeze Warnings for St. Michael Area Through Wednesday
Careful if you "jumped" on the chance to get some planting done the past couple of weeks. Jack Frost is making a return.

UPDATE: The National Weather Service in Chanhassen has extended a freeze warning for suburban areas of the Twin Cities tonight and tomorrow night, including Wright County.
The initial warning was for Monday and Tuesday overnight, but the NWS is now including Wednesday, so keep those tender plants covered.

Those "green thumbs" that jumped on the recent warm weather and got some planting done may want to take note: this freeze could be hard enough to kill young plants, with overnight temperatures tonight expected to bottom out in the mid to low 20s for "several hours," according to the National Weather Service.
The freeze, which is expected to return Tuesday night, "could be particularly detrimental to tender vegitation and fruit trees, which are budding in some areas."
