Fundraiser Set for St. Michael Postal Worker Battling Brain Tumor

Family, friends and coworkers will hold a fundraiser and get-together for St. Michael resident Tim Waterman.

The fundraiser, raffle and silent auction is set for 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, March 18 at at Mad Jack's Restaurant and Bar, 8078 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Park.

Waterman, who lives on Langston Lane in St. Michael, underwent brain surgery in February, and was diagnosed with gioblastom astrocytoma, Stage IV. Friend and coworker Michael LePree said in an email the cancer is growing and is very advanced. Doctors started chemotherapy and radiation this month to slow the cancer down.
