GALLERY: St. Michael-Albertville Rec Soccer Celebrates Season

The 2011 summer soccer season came to a close for St. Michael-Albertville United's Recreational program Wednesday, as the more than 700 players and their families participated in the annual jamboree. 

The hot evening included pizza from Andy's Hometowne Pizza, a meal deal from Culver's and some demonstrations from St. Michael's own Minnesota Kings men's and women's clubs. 

There was also a K-9 demonstration courtesy of the Wright County Sheriff's Department. 

But, the undisputed highlight of the night was the St. Michael Fire Department, who soaked the overheated crowd with a nice man-made rain.
