Highway 10 Lane Closures Between Elk River, Big Lake Begin Sept. 16

Motorists traveling both directions of Highway 10 between Elk River and Big Lake will encounter delays as segments of the roadway are intermittently reduced to a single lane beginning Monday, Sept. 16, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

The closures are scheduled to occur during non-peak hours and will be completed by mid-October.

The closures are needed as crews prepare the roadway for near-term resurfacing. This initial work, a leveling course, is being applied to the pavement, and crews will return in spring 2014 to complete the project.
