‘Hiking Wright’ Earth Day Event In Wright County Pushed To April 29
The "Hiking Wright" Earth Day event includes a guided hike of just over 2 miles at Harry Larson Regional Park in Monticello.
WRIGHT COUNTY, MN — Wright County’s “Hiking Wright” Earth Day program has been delayed a week, with Friday’s forecast showing rain and thunderstorms throughout the region.
The “Hiking Wright” program was due to start at 5 p.m. Friday, which is Earth Day, but the event was postponed until 5 p.m. April 29, according to county officials.
The “Hiking Wright” Earth Day event includes a guided hike of just over 2 miles at Harry Larson Regional Park in Monticello. The one-hour hike is open to residents at least 5 years old.

Residents do not have to re-register to attend next week’s event, for which the county’s Parks and Recreation Department is still accepting new registrations. Residents can register for $5 each by clicking here.
