It's Academic: Former St. Michael, Albertville Students Earn Academic Honors

Some former Knights are doing dandy at schools around the region...and beyond.

• Caitlyn Duley, St. Michael, a freshman at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, earned a seventh place award at the Grace Welsh Tournament. The Eau Claire team earned a spot in the American Foresnic Association and National Forensic Association Tournaments.

• Sara Morgan, Albertville, a 2011 graduate of , helped lead the Lewis University Mock Trial B Team to a top 10 finish at the American Mock Trial Association Championship Series in Waukegan, IL. Morgan and her team defeated Notre Dame, tied with Wisconsin, split with the University of Illinois and lost to Northwood University. Morgan helped lead to the A team to fourth place and the B team to a sixth place finish at the regional competition in Joliet, IL last month.

• Kyle Anderson, St. Michael, earned a spot on the Fall 2011 Dean's List at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design. Anderson is a sophomore.

• Annie Haefner, a 2008 grad of St. Michael-Albertville High, was named to the fall 2011 Dean's List at Bemidji State University.

• Irene Bell, Albertville, and Audrey Walton, Albertville, were named ot the Dean's List for fall 2011 at Bethel University, St. Paul.
