Kick-off Meeting Set for Albertville Friendly City Days
The silver anniversary is set for June 6 through 10.

Local group leaders and interested individuals will be meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 20 at the to discuss preliminary plans for the 25th anniversary of Albertville Friendly City Days.
Anyone involved in a local group interested in participating or volunteering is invited to attend. Individuals are also welcome to attend.
This year's Friendly City Days is scheduled for June 6 through 10. The event will start on Wednesday morning with a city wide garage sale. Thursday afternoon a huge carnival opens offering plenty of rides, several games of skill, and a lineup of great carnival food. Friday there is plenty of activity featuring a pork chop dinner, softball, live music, and fireworks. Saturday the activities continue with a number of adult sporting events, kids games, queen activities, bingo, a pasta dinner, and a live band. Sunday caps off the action packed weekend with a parade and the crowning of Miss Albertville.
