Missing Child, Man Pinned Under Van: Albertville Fire, Rescue Report

The Albertville Fire Department also responded to a small fire near a wooded area the week of Aug. 28 to Sept. 8, 2013.

The following is a list of incidents responded to by the Albertville Fire Department for Aug. 28 to Sept. 8, 2013. Incidents details were provided by the Albertville Fire and Rescue Department

August 28

  • The Albertville Fire and Rescue Department responded to a call in the 6300 block of Mason Avenue NE for a small fire in the wooded area behind the residence. The call was cancelled by Wright County Dispatch before the trucks went into service.

  • The Albertville Fire and Rescue Department responded to a medical call in the 1000 block of Kahl Avenue NE for a 3 year old having difficulty breathing.

August 30

  • The Albertville Fire and Rescue Department responded to a rescue call in the 5100 block of Barthel Industrial Drive NE for a male pinned under a mini-van.

September 1

  • The Albertville Fire and Rescue Department responded to an accident with possible injuries at the intersection of CSAH 37 and 67th Street NE. The call was cancelled by a Wright County Deputy.

September 2

  • The Albertville Fire and Rescue Department responded to a smoke alarm in the 6500 block of Jansen Avenue NE. The department cleared out the smoke and reset the alarms.

September 5

  • The Albertville Fire and Rescue Department responded to a call on I-94 at mile marker 202 for a car accident involving a semi-tractor/trailer.
  • The Albertville Fire and Rescue Department responded to a fire alarm in the 6500 block of Jansen Avenue NE. No fire or smoke was found.

September 6

  • The Albertville Fire and Rescue Department responded to a report of a missing child in the 12100 block of 72nd Street NE in Otsego. The child was found and the call was cancelled by Wright County Dispatch.
  • The Albertville Fire and Rescue Department was on call for the St. Michael Fire Department and responded to a medical call in the 4600 block of Melina Court NE in St. Michael for a 16-year-old who had fainted.

September 7

  • The Albertville Fire and Rescue Department was on call for the St. Michael Fire Department and responded to an accident with injuries at the intersection of Highway 241 and Edgewood Drive NE in St. Michael.

September 8

  • The Albertville Fire and Rescue Department responded to a medical call in the 5200 block of Kalland Court NE for an unresponsive 27-year-old male.
  • The Albertville Fire and Rescue Department responded to a medical call in the 10100 block of Karston Court NE for a female experiencing chest pains.
