Road Work To Prompt Lane Closures On I-94 East In Wright County

WRIGHT COUNTY, MN — The Minnesota Department of Transportation is warning drivers in Wright County to be prepared for short-term lane closures on Interstate 94 for the next two weeks.

Traffic will be reduced to a single lane at various times on eastbound I-94 between County Road 8 in Clearwater and Highway 25 in Monticello, according to the department.

The closures are required so crews can install high-tension cable barriers, MnDOT officials said. Work started Tuesday and is expected to finish July 1.
