Rockford Woman ID’d As Victim Of Fatal Crash In Monticello Twp.

Deputies were called just after 6 a.m. Monday to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of County Highway 37 and Edmonson Avenue NE.

WRIGHT COUNTY, MN β€” The Wright County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday identified the victim of a fatal crash Monday in Monticello Township.

Debra Mursch, 59, of Rockford, was killed Monday morning in a two-vehicle crash caused by heavy blowing snow, according to the sheriff’s department.

Deputies were called just after 6 a.m. Monday to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of County Highway 37 and Edmonson Avenue NE in Monticello Township.

A pickup truck driven by a man from Buffalo crashed into Mursch’s pickup truck when she entered the intersection after stopping at the stop sign on Edmonson Avenue, according to the sheriff’s department.

Roads were covered with snow and there was heavy blowing snow at the time of the crash, authorities said.
