Sherburne County Asking Drivers for Help in Accident Investigation

A motorcyclist and his passenger were both killed Wednesday when they collided with a passenger vehicle in Big Lake Township at about 2:45 p.m. Wednesday.

According to Sherburne County Sheriff Joel Brott, the accident occurred on County Road 17 just south of U.S. Highway 10.

Brien Wickham, 31, of Big Lake, was pronounced dead at the scene, while Jacquelyn Lee, 26, of Ramsey, later succumbed to her injuries after being flown from the scene to North Memorial Hospital.

The driver of the passenger vehicle was identified as Cody Moen, 19, of Monticello. He suffered minor injuries and was released from the hospital.

Sherburne County investigators believe additional drivers in the vicinity may have information to provide. They are being asked to contact Sgt. Andrew Ochs at 763- 765-3520. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
