Snow Joke: St. Michael, Albertville Could See New Layer of White

Put the bikes and rollerblades away, at least for now. The community should be coated with snow by Tuesday afternoon.

The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for the St. Michael and Albertville area as a weather system makes its way out of the Dakotas and into Minnesota.

St. Michael could see up to 3 inches of new snow by tomorrow, making the 24-hour period (sadly) the second-largest snow event the community has seen this mild winter.

According to the NWS, rain should begin falling in Western Minnesota around 2 p.m., with snow reaching the Twin Cities sometime around evening commute, or later.
