St. Michael, Albertville Businesses Offer Drop-Off Sites for Local Toy Donations

Caring for Kids: Your Local Toy Drive serves families in Albertville, St. Michael and Hanover.  

The program was created through the Hanover Area Food Shelf, they provide new unwrapped toys to children ages birth to 18 as well as a Christmas meal.  

Toy drives are run by address; if a family in need lives in Albertville, St. Michael or Hanover they will be served by Caring for Kids. This is the checks and balances of the system.  

“We have been meeting the needs of families in our community for over 20 years -- but our donations are significantly down this year,” said DaNette Robeck, Caring for Kids coordinator. “We think having a late Thanksgiving this year caused a delay in toy donations. We really need the communities' support to help meet the demand of nearly 500 children whom have registered to receive toys in our community this year.”  

If you would like to support Caring for Kids: Your Local Toy Drive, please drop off toys donations at the following locations byFriday, December 13.
