St. MIchael-Albertville Girls Battle Buffalo for State Tournament Spot
For the second straight season, the Knights and Bison are squaring off for the Section 8-4A Championship.
will be the underdog tonight as it travels to St. John's University to take on the top-seeded Buffalo Bison in the girls basketball Section 8AAAA championship game.
Last year, the Bison used a second half rally to knock off the Knights and earn its first trip to the 4A Tournament from Section 8.
This season, the Knights are looking to make it back to state with their first win over the Bison. Buffalo beat STMA at home handily back in January, then eeked out a five-point win on their home floor two and a half weeks ago.
