βSt. Michael-Albertville HS Students Receive Academic Awards
Approximately 500 students were honored for their academic success during the 2021-22 school year.

ST. MICHAEL, MN βSt. Michael-Albertville High School held its annual Academic Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, where approximately 500 students were recognized for their academic success during the 2021-22 school year.
"The awards honored students for their commitment to learning and for their achievement in the classroom," the school said in a statement. "Congratulations to all award winners, and thank you to their parents/guardians for their continued encouragement and support of their education."

Student of the Year Awards: These are selected by the staff, who choose a student in each class based on academic performance, participation in the classroom and contributions outside of the classroom. The award is considered the highest honor given to STMA students.

AAA Awards: The Minnesota State High School League sponsors the AAA awards, which are given to seniors who excel in academics, athletics, and arts:

ExCEL Awards: The Minnesota State High School League sponsors the ExCEL awards, which are given to juniors who are active in school activities, show leadership qualities, and volunteer in their community.

- Abigail Dolan was honored for having work selected for the National K-12 Ceramics Exhibition.
- Sophia Apold received a National Scholastic Art & Writing Contest gold medal for painting.
- Praise Hanson received a National Scholastic Art & Writing Contest gold medal for photography.
- Livia Proudlock received a National Scholastic Art & Writing Contest gold medal for sculpture.
