St. Michael-Albertville Pets of the Week - Jan. 19

Crossroads Animal Shelter in nearby Buffalo is teaming up with St. Michael Patch to bring you a special feature here on the site.

"Pets of the Week" features a pair of adoptable pets at the popular shelter, which recently welcomed and adopted out its 6,000th animal in December 2011. That's pretty impressive for a shelter that's only been around for about 12 years.

Crossroads is located at 2800 10th St SE in Buffalo. During "winter hours," the shelter is open from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday, noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sundays.

This week's featured pets are:

Cat: Oprah is a beautifully marked black and white girl. She likes to play, chat and watch TV.

Dog: Alladin is a fun, beagle/shepherd mix. He's a young dog, who is looking for a family with toys!
