St. Michael-Albertville Picks Patch's Choice for St. Patty's

The taps will be steady with pour of green beer Saturday, as St. Michael-Albertville residents join the millions across America who celebrate their Irish heritage (and plenty who just celebrate the weekend) on St. Patrick's Day.

According to our second vote in the presented by St. Michael Patch, your favorite place to spend St. Patrick's Day is right on the "main drag," at in Albertville.

People pointed to the restaurant and bar's new "pub" theme, unveiled after Chuck Huck and friends did an extensive remodeling job last year. They also appreciate the live music, drink specials and "real good food."

Pubhouse picked up 59 percent of the more than 180 votes cast in this last "election."

Pubhouse also had favorable reviews (currently at 3.5 out of 5 stars on Patch Places) and some good comments, also factored into our voting.

in "downtown" Albertville picked up second place, earning 22 percent of the vote.

People liked Neighbors' new atmosphere, the drink specials and the management at the 18-month-old business.

The Corner Bar and Liberty Restaurant and Bar, neighbors in St. Michael, both took third with 9 percent of the vote.

St. Michael Patch readers have also voted on the best coffee shop in the St. Michael area, with Caribou Coffee taking first in that race.
