St. Michael-Albertville Swimmers Claim Conference Crown
St. Michael defeated Buffalo in their home pool last week to finish an undefeated regular season.
In a meet that completed an amazing season turnaround, the boys' did one better than their girls' counterparts in the swimming pool, and dumped the Buffalo Bison for a perfect regular season and the Mississippi 8 Conference title.
The Knights cruised by the Bison winning 10 of the 12 events.Â
Noah Dalluge won the 50 freestyle setting a Buffalo pool record. The 200 freestyle relay team of Brandon Richardson, Connor Schmidt, Grant Moser and Noah Dalluge took first also setting a Bison pool record. Grant Moser won the 100 butterfly setting a school record.

The Knights' junior varsity team also completed their dual meet season undefeated.
The Knights will get three weeks off prior to swimming at the Section 8AA meeting Elk River on Feb. 24-25.
