STMA Seeks Nominations For District's Hall Of Fame Class Of 2022

ST. MICHAEL, MN — St. Michael-Albertville Schools officials are asking local residents to submit nominations this month for the district’s 2022 Hall of Fame.

The STMA Hall of Fame’s Class of 2022 will include one or two people with “a longstanding history of service to the district,” according to the nomination criteria listed on the district’s website.

To be considered for the Hall of Fame, nominees must have at least five years of service to the district as a community member or former employee. Nominees must have provided “exceptionally meritorious service and demonstrated commitment to STMA’s tradition of excellence,” according to the criteria.

Nominations will be reviewed by the district’s selection committee, which includes Superintendent Ann-Marie Foucault, two school board members, several school employees and administrators, and a high school student.

At least 75 percent of the committee must support nominations for them to be considered for the Hall of Fame’s Class of 2022. The committee’s recommendations must be approved by Foucault and school board chairman Drew Scherber.

Anyone in the St. Michael-Albertville Schools community can nominate someone for the STMA Hall of Fame. Nominations must be submitted by Jan. 28, with the Hall of Fame induction scheduled for May 16.
