Storm Drops 5 Inches of Snow On St. Michael; More Coming Thursday
Residents must remove their vehicles from St. Michael streets and city-owned parking lots if at least 2 inches of snow fall.

ST. MICHAEL, MN — Parts of St. Michael were hit with almost a half-foot of snow earlier this week, and more is on the way, according to forecasts.
Snowfall totals from the National Weather Service show 5.6 inches of snow fell in the southern part of the city, while about 2.6 inches of snowfall was recorded in east-southeast St. Michael.
Forecasts indicate snow is likely to return to St. Michael on Thursday afternoon, though only about an inch is expected to accumulate. There is an 80 percent chance of precipitation Thursday in St. Michael, according to the NWS.

Wind chill values could dip as low as 17 degrees below zero Thursday, the NWS said.
St. Michael parking ordinances ban residents from parking on city streets from 2-6 a.m. every morning from Nov. 1 to April 1.

Residents must also remove their vehicles from St. Michael streets and city-owned parking lots if at least 2 inches of snow fall. Vehicles must remain off city streets and lots until they are fully plowed.
