Wind Chills To Reach Minus 29 Thursday In St. Michael: NWS
Hazardous wind chills are due to arrive throughout central Minnesota on Thursday, a day after snow blanketed the area again.
ST. MICHAEL, MN — St. Michael residents can expect a steep drop in temperatures following the latest round of snow throughout the area Wednesday.
Wind chill values are forecast to drop as low as 29 degrees below zero Thursday in the city, according to the National Weather Service. The NWS forecast for St. Michael shows a high of minus 4 on Thursday.
Wright County is due to be under a wind chill advisory from 9 p.m. Wednesday through 3 p.m. Thursday.

Friday is set to be mostly sunny with a high near 8 degrees, the NWS said.

Temperatures are forecast to rise Saturday, with a high near 29 degrees, but arctic air and hazardous wind chills are due to return Sunday through Tuesday, the NWS said.
Aside from a brief reprieve on Saturday, arctic air will be with us through next Tuesday.
