Winter Parking Rules Take Effect In St. Michael

City ordinances ban residents from parking on city streets from 2-6 a.m. every morning from Nov. 1 to April 1.

ST. MICHAEL, MN — St. Michael officials are reminding residents that winter parking rules are now in effect in the city.

City ordinances ban residents from parking on city streets from 2-6 a.m. every morning from Nov. 1 to April 1.

Residents must also remove their vehicles from St. Michael streets and city-owned parking lots if at least 2 inches of snow fall. Vehicles must remain off city streets and lots until they are fully plowed.

Parking is also banned from 2-5 a.m. daily between Nov. 1 and April 1 at the city-owned parking lot at 1st Street SE, according to city ordinances.

Vehicles that violate St. Michael ordinances can be towed and impounded, with the owner responsible for paying all fees.
