Several inches of snow fell in Wright County over the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

WRIGHT COUNTY, MN — Days are getting longer and March Madness is just around the corner, sure signs that spring is on its way. But winter was not quite ready to end this weekend in Wright County.
Several inches of snow fell in the county over the weekend, with 3.1 inches recorded in Monticello and 2.5 inches in Buffalo, according to the National Weather Service.
Most of that accumulated during an “intense” period of snowfall that lasted only two to three hours early Sunday morning, the NWS said.
