Wright County Sheriff's Office Offers Citizen Academy
The Citizens' Law Enforcement Academy gives the public a behind the scenes look at life as a Wright County Deputy.

Wright County Sheriff’s Office Citizen Law Enforcement Academy is offered free of charge and will be held in the spring of 2012.Classes are two and a half hours long. The program will run for Five (5) weeks. Instruction will be a combination of lecture, question and answer, demonstration, participation and tours. The classes and subjects will be very similar to those taught to new deputy sheriffs and police officer        Â
Applicants must be at least eighteen (18) years old. Due to the nature of the material presented, all applicants will be screened for criminal backgrounds. Â
Classes will be held from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. April 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th and May-1st . The classes will be held at the Wright County Law Enforcement Center. Questions regarding the program may also be addressed to Sergeant Brian Johnson at 763-684-2366 or brianm.johnson@co.wright.mn.usÂ
