• City Council Endorses $1.77M Environmental Cleanup Grant for 200 Lake Street East (wayzata.com) — Wayzata’s City Council has backed a $1.77 million environmental cleanup grant for the contaminated redevelopment site at 200 Lake Street East, voting 4–1 to support a private ERF application. The funding would remove legacy petroleum and industrial pollution under today’s stricter standards, with no direct city cost, clearing the way for future housing and design decisions downtown. 
• Six seniors lead Wayzata girls cross country team to national tournament win (cbsnews.com) — Wayzata High School’s girls cross country team just capped a dream season by winning the Nike National Tournament, after already taking state and regional titles. Led by six seniors and one freshman, the Trojans battled muddy Portland conditions to finish first among 22 elite teams, with senior Maddie Gullickson placing seventh individually and coach Kalsey Beach praising years of hard work.
